The NBV Paddle Club is a fitness and recreational community program presented by the City of North Bay Village, supported by NBV Commissioner Doris Acosta and led by resident SUP Coach Aymee Vasquez. This weekly community paddle welcomes paddleboards and kayaks and brings residents together for fitness, connection, and fun on the waters of Biscayne Bay, the Heart of the Bay.
- Paddle out: Every Sunday at 10:00am
- Duration: 1 hour
- Location: PADL Bay Club, 1275 NE 79th St, #4206, Miami, FL 33138 (formerly iPaddle Miami).
The club celebrates paddlers with yearly awards for Amateur Paddler.
Stand-up paddleboards and kayaks are welcome. Participants of all ages and skill levels can join; minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and all participants must sign a waiver.
Participants can choose between a 1.5-mile recreational course or a 3-mile course for those seeking a more competitive challenge and complete the course in one hour.
Free SUP or Kayak rentals for the first 15 NBV residents, $10 per resident thereafter. Bring your own paddleboard for free, or rent one from us at a special discount. It’s going to be a blast!
NVB SUP Club Requirements
- This event is for North Bay Village residents; participants must be NBV residents or accompanied by a resident to join.
- All participants must sign a waiver and attestation in order to participate. The waiver only needs to be completed once every 90 days. To complete the forms download the PADL app, create a profile, and sign both the Attestation and Waiver forms.
- Mandatory Safety Requirements: A life vest (PFD) and whistle are required by law and must be carried to participate. If you bring your own board, please bring your own safety gear or let us know if you need to rent or purchase it from us. it is not required by law but for your safely, we strongly recommend wearing a leash.
- The paddle out starts at 10:00am sharp. Please arrive at least 20 minutes early with your equipment ready and in the water.
- Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and a waiver must be signed to participate.

WHAT TO BRING
- Water shoes (required – we do not paddle with shoes on but our ramp is rocky and we want you to be comfortable)
- Bathing suit or water-friendly clothing
- Hat or visor
- Bottled water (bring extra for during and after class)
- Sunscreen or other sun protection
- Towel
- Glasses strap if you wear glasses
- Your smile
PARKING & DETAILS
- Arrive at least 20 minutes early, we’ll start sharp on time
- Park with PayByPhone app, payment covers for entire day at the island
- If you BYOB, you are welcome to unload your equipment by our ramp and then park
