Welcome to SUP-Miami Paddleboard School. By using paddleboardlessonsmiami.com, booking a lesson, or participating in one of our activities, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Reservations & Payment
Advance reservations are required for SUP lessons and activities. Payment may be required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change. The price confirmed at the time of booking will apply to your reservation.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
All cancellations, rescheduling requests, weather-related cancellations, credits, and no-shows are subject to our separate Cancellation Policy.
Please review the Cancellation Policy before completing your reservation.
Participant Responsibilities
Participants are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their swimming ability, paddling experience, and any physical limitations that could affect their ability to safely participate.
All participants must follow the instructor's directions and safety procedures while participating in a lesson or activity.
SUP-Miami Paddleboard School reserves the right to refuse or discontinue participation when a participant's actions or behavior could create an unsafe situation for themselves, the instructor, other participants, or the public.
Participants may not participate while impaired by alcohol, recreational drugs, or other substances that could affect judgment, coordination, or balance.
Safety & Water Conditions
Stand-Up Paddleboarding is an outdoor water sport and involves inherent risks associated with water, weather, wind, currents, marine life, boat traffic, falls, submerged objects, and changing environmental conditions.
SUP-Miami Paddleboard School reserves the right to modify the location, route, duration, or format of a lesson when necessary for safety.
Participants must use required safety equipment and follow all applicable boating and water-safety regulations.
Assumption of Risk
By participating in a SUP lesson or activity, you acknowledge that Stand-Up Paddleboarding and related water activities involve inherent risks.
Participation is voluntary, and each participant is responsible for following the safety instructions provided by the instructor.
Participants may be required to complete a separate Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, and Assumption of Risk Agreement before participating.
These Terms & Conditions do not replace the separate participant liability waiver.
Minors
Participants under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
A parent or legal guardian may be required to complete and sign participation documents and a liability waiver on behalf of the minor.
Age or participation restrictions may apply to certain lessons or activities.
Equipment
When equipment is included with a lesson, SUP-Miami Paddleboard School will provide the equipment specified in the lesson description.
Participants are responsible for using boards, paddles, leashes, personal flotation devices, and other equipment according to the instructor's directions.
Participants may be held responsible for equipment that is lost or intentionally or negligently damaged.
Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
SUP-Miami Paddleboard School is not responsible for personal property that is lost, stolen, damaged, dropped in the water, or otherwise affected during a lesson or activity.
Wildlife
Biscayne Bay is a natural environment and wildlife encounters may occur. Sightings of dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, rays, birds, or other wildlife are never guaranteed.
Participants must respect wildlife and follow instructor directions regarding safe distances and appropriate behavior around animals and environmentally sensitive areas.
Photos & Videos
Photos and videos may be taken during lessons for instructional purposes and may also be used on our website, social media, or promotional materials.
If you do not wish to appear in promotional photos or videos, please notify SUP-Miami Paddleboard School before your lesson.
